All citizens arriving in Portugal by air (except children under 24 months of age) must present “Evidence of Laboratory Testing (RT-PCR)” for screening of Covit-19, with a negative result, carried out within 72 hours of departure.
“Passengers arriving at the national border without proof of testing for SARSCoV-2 infection must do so at the airport, at their own expense, and wait for the decision at the airport,” the ministry’s internal administration said.
Prime Minister Antonio Costa announced on Thursday that the land border with Spain would be suspended for another two weeks.
