At the end of Renata’s talk, Afonso asked her why the environmental impact study had not revealed a defect in the land preventing the construction of the dam. The businesswoman denies it, but Mia says they have evidence and has taken a series of copies from the original study. Luisa rebels against Renata and everyone is in shock.
After Zi confronts her, Isabel denies Simao is her son, but the guard of Rio Mindro is not convinced by her words.
Later, Isabel arrived home still nervous. Miguel says Lara warned him that she was going to be staying at a friend’s house. The teacher confirms him, but warns him that his return home does not mean that she has forgiven him.
Tó Calhau enters the workshop with Armanda behind him. She says she lied to him to make him feel comfortable. The mechanic admits he has feelings for her and is afraid to lose her. Armanda says this won’t happen unless he tells her he doesn’t want her there. To kiss her passionately.
Mia is happy to have her mother back. Monica wonders if Renata was really aware of this study. Mia says if she didn’t know, she wouldn’t have bought Carlos’ silence.
Renata spoke to Roy and seemed smart, saying she would stop the dam work because she didn’t want to put the residents and their workers at risk. Afonso’s father thinks she’s good because people can’t lose faith in her.
Monica says that after Mia’s visit to Lisbon, she realized that her life was there, in Rio Mendro. Constance is happy to have her friend back.
Mia and Afonso note the emotional atmosphere of Tó Calhau, who says he is a committed man.
Isabel confesses in front of Orlando, who is surprised by what he just heard. She says Simao is Zee’s son because he cheated on Miguel one night when he drank too much. Orlando doesn’t know what to say and tells her to pray two-thirds full.
