Petropolis had another sad day in the shadow of the pandemic. The Municipal Health Secretariat confirmed, on Wednesday evening (14), the death of 20 more people due to the Corona virus. The deaths occurred between 3/23 and 4/14. As a result, the total number of Petro-Politians who lost their lives since the start of the epidemic rose to 838. In the past 24 hours, 407 new cases of coronavirus were also recorded in the city, bringing the total to 28,089.

New cases and deaths recorded by the municipal government do not necessarily mean that they all occurred on the day of detection, but are registered in the system on this date.

According to the epidemiological bulletin, Petrópolis has so far conducted 137,457 tests for covid-19, with 28,089 positive results and 106,106 negative results – subject to rapid tests and swab tests.

The report also showed that 326 people were hospitalized on Wednesday to receive treatment for the disease – 164 in intensive care units (ICUs) and 162 in clinical beds. The bed occupancy rate provided by the Standardized Health System (SUS) is 88.52% (intensive care units) and 69.29% (clinical).

A woman, 63, lives in the Brazilian Quarter. Held on 04/03 at UPA Cascatinha. The death was recorded on 05/4 at UPA Cascatinha. Diabetics and chronic cardiovascular disease.

A 50-year-old woman resides in the center. He was arrested on 2/4 at UPA Cascatinha and transferred to HNSA. The death is recorded on 5/5 in the HNSA. Patient with arterial hypertension and chronic cardiovascular disease.

Male, 74 years old, resides in a secretary. He was arrested on 03/30 at UPA Cascatinha and transferred to HNSA. The death was recorded on 4/4 in the HNSA. Sick with no comorbidities.

Male, 55, from Maureen. Admitted to HNSA on March 28th. The death was recorded on 4/7 in the HNSA. Patient with arterial hypertension.

A woman, 79 years old, lives in Itaipava. He was arrested on March 14 at UPA Cascatinha and transferred to HNSA. The death was recorded on 4/7 in the HNSA. Patient with arterial hypertension and hypothyroidism.

A 44-year-old woman, resident of Pedro do Rio, arrested on 04/04 at UPA Cascatinha. The death was recorded on 07/04 at UPA Cascatinha. Patient with arterial hypertension.
