Parliament this Friday approved the dispatch of Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to London between May 5 and 6 for the coronation of King Carlos III, and then to Eustace in Spain between May 8 and 9. The Charles V Prize was awarded to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and France’s Strasbourg between 9 and 10 May at the invitation of the President of the European Parliament.
At the invitation of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, between June 4 and 9, the President’s visit to South Africa and an official visit to commemorate Portugal Day and Camos and Portuguese communities.
If this last measure is approved unanimously, the rest are voted together and approved with a left bloc vote.
According to its Speaker of Parliament, Pedro Philip Soares, the decision was taken because of the visit to London by the head of state for the coronation of the King of England.
