On Friday morning, July 5, next to the Ourem Health Center, the Municipality of Ourem delivered two electric vehicles to the Local Health Unit of the Leiria District (ULS RL) to strengthen the response in terms of health care in primary schools in the Municipality of Ourem. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of the Ourem City Council, Luis Miguel Albuquerque, the Councilor in charge of Health, Micaela Durão, and the President of the Board of Directors of ULS RL, Licinio de Carvalho. The delivery of these vehicles is the result of a request made by the Regional Administration of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (ARSLVT) to the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Portuguese State, in the investment “Primary Health Care with More Answers”, which includes the i1 -10 objective of providing electric vehicles to support the provision of home care in health centers. These vehicles aim to improve accessibility, safety and comfort conditions for users and professionals, to improve the provision of care and health emergency plans and adaptation. Maintenance and preservation of buildings, as well as enhancing the environment and promoting energy efficiency.
