The codename for Nintendo’s new console is “Ounce” and not “Muji,” according to new information shared by several unofficial sources, but well known among the Nintendo community.
Necro Felipe updated his information and said that “Muji” was just a temporary name used by Nintendo to prevent the real codename “Ounce” from being discovered.
Pyoro, one of the most credible unofficial sources on Nintendo affairs, responded to Midori’s comments and said that “Ounce” is indeed the codename for the Nintendo Switch’s successor.
This information conflicts with the codename for the new version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, “U-King-O”, as “U-King” is the game’s codename and “-O” suggests what “Once” is, since Nintendo Switch versions used “-S” in the codename.

Over the past few weeks, a lot of information has come to light that is starting to give us a possible idea of what Nintendo wants from its new generation of console. The mystery that the Japanese company maintains around its new devices and the delay in revealing them only serves to increase the appetite for new features that are sought after in all shapes and forms.
According to sources already well known among the Nintendo community, the codename for Nintendo’s new console has now been discovered and it is a name that is already causing controversy, given its meaning in Japanese.
“Necro” Felipe and PapaGenos are already popular on the social network.
Muji’s philosophy is to create products through a very rational and concise manufacturing process, highlighting simplicity to achieve great universality, in order to make it possible to embrace the feelings and thoughts of all people.
We have no way of knowing how Nintendo attaches itself to these philosophies in its next console, but simplifying the embrace of emotions is something that seems easy to associate with Nintendo’s style.
