The municipal government, through the Ministry of Health, continues an influenza (influenza) vaccination campaign for elderly people and teachers, starting from Monday (24), as an application for seniors from the age of 60. It is worth emphasizing that the elderly will need to present a vaccination card, as the Covid-19 vaccine is registered, or the person will not be vaccinated. If a person loses their vaccination card, they must contact the vaccination center and request a new card.
Anyone who has had the Covid-19 vaccine can only get a flu shot after 14 days. If a person misses the deadline to get the Covid-19 vaccine, they can look for vaccination points, on the days the first doses are applied, to receive the vaccination. The Ministry of Health recommends that a person prioritize taking two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination first, then taking the flu vaccine.
If a person has only taken the first dose of Coronavac, it is important to take the second dose of the vaccine first, and then count 14 days to get the flu shot. It is worth noting that the elderly who are bedridden will provide their services by the family health strategy teams in each health unit, which will serve its coverage area. If the person is not part of this coverage, they will need to contact the Vaccination Center to make appointments.
On the other hand, thinking of teachers continues regardless of age criterion. The Ministry of Health’s influenza vaccination plan provides for the vaccination of primary and higher education teachers, upon presentation of a document proving their effective association as a teacher in these schools. Among the documents accepted are a badge, paycheck, employment contract, or some other supporting documents.
Units continue to administer influenza vaccinations: UMS Abadia (Abadia), UMS Aloísio Prata (Elza Amui), Caism (Parque do Mirante), Eurico Vilela Health Center (the center), UMS Maria Tereza de Freitas (Bairro Lourdes), USF Edison Louise Fernandez ( Residential 2000), UMS Romes Cecílio (Morumbi), UMS Valdemar Hial (Fabrício), UBS George Chiree (Alfredo Freire), UBS Dr. João Junqueira (Rio de Janeiro), UBS Lecir Nunes (Parque das Américas), UBS Virlânea Augusta (Maracanã) and all rural units in Uberaba, including Capelinha / Baixa, Santa Rosa, Ponte Alta and Borgico / Limestone.
