The City Hall building was lit up in yellow on the night of July 27, on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day. As in previous years, the Municipality of Oeiras has joined the 2024 campaign of the National Viral Hepatitis Program of the Directorate General of Health.

This year’s theme of the World Hepatitis Alliance – “Time to Act” – is a call to raise awareness and alert the population to the problem of hepatitis, and a reminder of the need for continued efforts by society and public health authorities to eliminate viral hepatitis.

It is worth noting that Oeiras is one of the municipalities that signed the Paris Declaration, which allows the development of the Fast Track Cities project with the aim of implementing municipal responses aimed at eliminating HIV from the municipality, as well as viral hepatitis and tuberculosis.
