This Thursday, the 24th, Manuel Luis Jocha welcomed charismatic artist Joanna Deniz on his evening show on TVI. The former competitor of “House of Secrets,” and many other reality shows, told her life story in an emotional conversation.
Juanina, who is affectionately treated by the public, reveals that she was a victim of prejudice after her debut in ‘Casa dos Segredos’.
“I must have been at a point in my life, after the programme, when I wanted a job and nobody would give it to me, because I was the guanine of House of Secrets, and it was my cousins who put me on the hunt with them. Hunting with my cousins, and if not for him to reach out my hand, and if it were not for fishing, I would not have the money to pay my bills,” he admitted, realizing the connection of the great loneliness that exists between his family in the fishermen’s quarter where he grew up – in Villa Franca de Xira.
“We suffered a lot from prejudice, I really wanted to work humbly,” she says, explaining that even the factories where she asked to work would not accept it.
“It was very complicated,” he guarantees.
In fact, due to lack of work, Joanna agreed to re-enter into reality shows. “No one gave me a job, I had to go get the money from somewhere,” he shoots.
Today, Joanna is a happy and satisfied woman who works as a hairdresser – one of her trainings.
