To celebrate summer, the tour will take place in three locations in the Algarve in the afternoon.
In these events, players will be able to experience different games including: Nintendowhere there is no shortage Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HDamong others.
The first event starts on August 24th and there will be several tents where you can try out different games.

Beach, siesta, ice cream… and playing with family and friends. What better plan for a summer afternoon? Starting August 24, three coastal locations in the Algarve will be visited by a Nintendo Switch tour, where you can enjoy some free post-beach fun.
Bring company: The event is perfect for all types of audiences (including the clowns). The Nintendo Switch Tour starts on August 24th in Tavira. Anyone who visits our Nintendo Switch Tour will be able to play titles like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Princess Peach: Showtime! and nintendo switch sports.
The main protagonists of this tour are Mario and his friends: Luigi, Peach, Toad, Daisy, Yoshi… Characters with almost 40 years of history and are universal icons of friendly fun for several generations: from those who first appeared in Super Mario Adventures on Game Boy to those who only discovered the character on Nintendo Switch or even in the cinema. Remember that all these games are available in Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese.
In the Nintendo tents, participants will be able to accompany Princess Peach on her mission to save the Esplendor Theater, in Princess Peach; Showtime!; help the fearsome Luigi recover the fragments of the Black Moon (watch out for the ghosts!) in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD; or choose your favorite character from the Mario universe in Super Mario Bros. Marvel or race in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. And at the time of farewell, everyone, regardless of age, will surely want to take a souvenir photo in the famous Mario Tube, which will also travel along the Algarve coast.
Mario games are ideal for enjoying with company, thanks to their cheerful and friendly nature, multiplayer modes and accessibility – allowing young people to enjoy them from the first moment: for example, Super Mario Bros Wonder has characters that are invulnerable to enemies. And in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it is possible to activate an option that helps with driving. However, there are many hidden challenges and surprises, so even the most skilled will find challenges to suit them!
In addition to the diverse options in the Mario world, Nintendo Switch Tour visitors will be able to have fun with Nintendo Switch Sports, a fun sports “simulation” title suitable for beginners and experts and ideal for sharing with family or friends.
This game does not require you to learn complex button combinations: you simply have to reproduce the movement of sports involving rackets, balls and swords with your body so that the sensors on the Joy-Con controllers transmit these movements to the screen. It will also be possible to try out the new sport available in the game: basketball. With this new feature, Nintendo Switch Sports now has a total of eight different sports.
