“Singer Adriana Calcanhuto will perform tonight (28/7) in Penedo. For health reasons, singer Nay Matogroso has canceled his concert in the city. The other attractions of the Sesc Winter Festival have been maintained,” they wrote on Instagram.
The Social Service Council for Commerce (Sesc), which is responsible for organizing the festival, stated that Nay was actually there when he was unwell and chose not to go on stage, expressing his regret for the incident.
According to Estadão, Ney Matogrosso suffered from vomiting and diarrhea and was taken to the hospital for medical care. He was diagnosed with a serious virus. “I’m fine already. I’m eating and I don’t have any symptoms,” he told the vehicle, reassuring his fans.
