The Kings of Spain were last weekend at the 175th anniversary of the Círculo del Liceo Foundation, in Barcelona, an event at which Philip VI And the Leticia Making the point of being present, given the long-standing relationship the royal family maintains with this foundation.
For this special occasion, the Queen chose a long, dark blue dress with an asymmetrical neckline, allowing the shoulders to be seen, a piece of Carolina Herrerawhich she completed with diamond and sapphire earrings, which belonged to Queen Sofia, and a bracelet also made of the same precious stones.
Finally, Letizia chose gold sandals, Jimmy Choowith a heel of 12 cm, and she wore her hair loose and straight.
It is worth noting that in 2017, Queen Sofia was awarded the Circulo del Liceo gold medal, in recognition of her solidarity and cultural work, and last April the king received the Foundation’s staff at a meeting at the Albéniz Palace, the official residence of the royal family in the Catalan capital.
Círculo del Liceo is a private English-style club with around 1,000 members and consisting of elegant rooms and lounges. The Most of the rooms are decorated in a modern style, and there is also an important collection of artwork, especially painting and sculpture.
