Netflix may set up a new digital platform to promote its production content and simplify the network of users of the streaming service. The N-Plus platform is currently just a hypothesis under consideration, and the brand has already guaranteed, but the potential for it to become a reality.
The data from a survey conducted with some consumers, which the protocol site has access to, gives some clues about what such a platform could integrate into.
The document states that N-Plus can include podcasts, and allows the creation of personal playlists, allowing users to create lists of their favorite content and share them online, or provide educational (how-to) articles.
It is also suggested that, from the platform, it will be possible to influence developments in the Netflix original series. “Learn more about a planned (pre-production) program and influence its development, with feedback before filming ends,” says the document the protocol had access to.
The same document describes the new platform as “a future online space, where you can learn more about the shows you like the most about Netflix and everything related to them.”
Netflix, when contacted, explained that it frequently consults users about new ideas, but not all of them turn out to be real shows. Specifically, asking customers to provide feedback is one way to check whether the new idea will have a good or bad chance of success.
