Microsoft strives to bring Edge to everyone and this is done in two ways. A more aggressive one, which we will talk about below, and a quieter one consisting mainly of new functions. Edge just gained a new feature in which data is now integrated with Windows Search. So information like recent tabs, searches, etc., i.e. Edge history in Windows 11 will appear.
Microsoft Edge: Archives are integrated with Windows!
The option to do this was introduced in Edge Canary. However, it has not yet been implemented. It is now available but can be disabled. If you don’t like this new feature, just go to Edge Settings > Profiles and disable the Share data with Windows functionality.
If jobs are a good way to get users’ attention, there are other jobs that are less politically correct.
the site Newwen I found that when you open the Chrome Downloads page in Microsoft Edge Canary, you might get a message saying that Browser It’s 2008. In other words, the goal is to keep it in Chrome because the other browser is outdated. Moreover, there is no way to hide the message.
But that’s not the only message Edge delivers. In fact, there is another one. The second message is softer and says Edge is based on the same technology as Chrome with Microsoft’s added confidence. However, some sites have tried to reproduce this message but this is not possible.
It’s also possible that Microsoft thinks Edge performs better than Chrome. However, the way it is advertised can be a bit aggressive.
In addition to this measure, Microsoft is already trying to prevent users from downloading another browser if we use Bing.
It’s just that when we do that, a great ad banner pops up right away.
