After several rumours, the new Mediatek Dimensity 9300 has finally been launched Official.
This is, by far, the most powerful processor from the Chinese brand, having chosen a very unusual All Big Core architecture.
This processor is designed on 3nm technology and contains 4 Cortex-X4 cores (one with a frequency of 3.25 GHz and three with a frequency of 2.85 GHz) and four other Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz.
According to the brand, this configuration ensures a 15% performance improvement in single-core and 40% in multi-core, in addition to being useful for heavy applications like games.
The graphics processing unit is Timeless G720 MC12 Which promises 46% higher performance than the previous GPU. Still within the games, support for real-time ray tracing and 60fps global lighting effects has been announced.
In terms of RAM, it is compatible with 9600Mbps LPDDR5T memories.
As for AI, it has an APU 790, which is 8 times faster than the previous generation, and supports Stable Diffusion, Meta Llama 2, Baichuan 2, or Baidu AI LLM.
