At the end of September, several wrestlers were fired from WWE, with Matt Riddle being one of the biggest names to leave the company that week.
Like the others, the “Original Bro” won’t be able to return to the ring until after his 90-day non-compete clause expires, but this Wednesday, his first bout outside of WWE was announced.
Bobby Fulton used Twitter to announce that Matt Riddle will face Rob Van Dam for the first time in his career.
The fight will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling’s The Reunion 3: Cavalcade Of Legends event.

We’ll see if this will be Matt Riddle’s first fight after leaving WWE, or if he’ll fight for another promoter even before March.
