From today until September 3, all roads lead to Vistas do Mar in the Bay of Cascais. The stage closest to the Atlantic is back to continue to make great memories for the people of Cascais and for all those who visit Cascais and are keen not to miss out on these great parties. The Festas do Mar are back in a two-part format: from August 24 to 27 and from August 31 to September 3.
Magical Night with Pedro Abronhosa
The whole of Bahia sang and danced in a wonderful party, which aroused many emotions in the audience. Pedro Abronhosa returns to the stage closest to the Atlantic Ocean to close the first night of concerts at Fiestas do Mar on a big note, on a stage he knows well and on which he has already stepped in the years 2008, 2012, 2015 and 2018.
Surprise is always wonderful and unforgettable. A two and a half hour concert, with lots of beats, good vibes, songs we all know and a message of peace and love. A wonderful moment between parents, children, uncles, grandparents and friends who know each letter and therefore participate in the ceremony. By the way, Pedro Abronhosa is keen to invite the audience to participate, whether by singing, clapping, raising their hands or lighting their mobile phones, which are movements that bring everyone together and magical images that remain forever in the memory of those present and in the many photos they took with the artist. In love with the audience, Pedro Abronhosa jumped off the stage into the audience and went for a walk around the Bay of Cascais, giving out smiles and hugs as he continued singing.
The night ended with a big surprise from Luis Reprisas who joined his friend Pedro Abronhosa and together they sang “Tudo que eu te dou”. An exciting moment for the union of two of Portugal’s greatest artists.
Animated sunset with matai
Good atmosphere and lots of action and joy. Matai was responsible for opening the stage closest to the Atlantic Ocean in the 2023 edition of the Festas do Mar.
A private moment for Mattai on a stage he was already familiar with, but stepped onto for the first time in a concert with his name on the poster. Remember, Matai had already gone to Fiestas do Mar at the invitation of his friends Dingaz and Ager, with whom he shared the very successful songs.
“Thank you to each and every one of you for being here tonight. It’s so special to be able to rise to this stage. Thank you to everyone who made this night possible,” Mattai said.
Ines Marquez Lucas inaugurates the Sagres Theatre
As always, Festas do Mar continues to invest in new local talent. Ines Márquez Lucas was the first to take to the Sagres Theater this year, entertaining the crowd next to Cidadilla, in a late afternoon concert that garnered a strong following.
Released in 2023, “Do Avisso” is the debut single of this young woman who composed her first songs in English at the age of 15, but soon realized that she expressed herself better in Portuguese.
“I feel good, and I’m very happy to have played here. I’ve been coming to Vistas do Mar for many years,” said Ines Marques Lucas.
