Lusíadas Saúde will initially invest around €30 million in another hospital unit in the north of the country, this time in Paços de Ferreira, continuing its expansion plan in that region.
The health group revealed, in a press release, that the new Luciadas Pacos de Ferreira Hospital will create about 500 new job opportunities, ensuring population coverage of about 400,000 people.
In the words of Vasco Antunes Pereira, CEO of Lusíadas Saúde, “The purpose of the ongoing expansion plan to expand and strengthen the group’s clinical response in different geographies of the country goes much beyond business growth.”

According to the group, which was founded in 1998, the new hospital, whose total area exceeds four thousand square meters, will contain an operating room that includes two rooms for different surgical specialties, 25 consultation rooms, and seven examination rooms for different specialties, in addition to an imaging room.
“In addition to the investment in the Nordic region, the group has already announced the opening of Hospital Lucíadas Vilamoura, the acquisition of Monsanto Hospital and negotiations to acquire Clínicas Dr. Wells in the brand’s dental care network,” the company states. Health in the same statement.
