However, Lucasfilm hired YouTuber Shamook after she developed one of the most anticipated moments in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, when the studio spent a portion of its budget to reduce Mark Hamill’s age and make her look like Luke Skywalker.
After the sudden appearance (and eventually saving of Grogu) of a Jedi master, the Creator Youtube Shamuk created a deepfake of Skywalker using the same sights. According to the site Mashable, although the sound was a bit out of sync, the result was incredibly convincing, as its appearance far exceeded the CGI-generated footage for the current episode.
