After the Eurovision Song Contest Final, which took place last Saturday, May 22nd, many of the competing songs made their way to the top of Spotify. The Black Mamba’s “Love Is on My Side” has also appeared on the streaming service and this Tuesday, May 25th, reached 17th place on Top Viral 50 – Global.
The subject of the Portuguese band, which won 12th place in the final, for example, is ahead of “deja vu” (24th), by Olivia Rodrigo, or the new singles of Doja Cat & SZA or Sebastián Yatra.
The Backyardigans team tops the ranking with the theme of “untouchable” children. In second place is “Shum”, a theme presented by the Go_A group, which represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Festival.
Top Viral 50 – Global also includes “Dark Side” songs (5th place), by Blind Finnish channel; “Tout l’Univers” (sixth place), by Gjon’s Tears (Switzerland); “Voila” (seventh place) by French Barbara Bravie; “Zitti e Buoni” (ninth place), the subject of Italians Måneskin, who won the festival: “Mata Hari “(10th place), by Azerbaijani actor, Effendi.
Songs that represented Germany, Russia or Iceland directly also reached the top.
