Lisbon and Porto will host a huge Pink Floyd tribute show in December
Ten dancers, seven musicians and five singers will pay tribute to “The Wall,” which has sold more than 33 million copies.
Roger Waters played at Altice Arena in March of this year. As expected, tickets were sold out and many fans missed out on the opportunity to hear some of their favorite songs live. If this is one of these sad cases, do not despair: in December, Lisbon and Porto will host very special concerts for the biggest Pink Floyd fanatics.
“The Wall – The Pink Floyd’s Rock Opera” will be performed at Sagres Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, on December 7 and 8. On the 9th and 10th, the show heads to Porto to perform dope shows at the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota.
The organization described it as an “immersive production”, relying heavily on dance, and promising a “sensory journey” through the band’s “psychedelic and emotional world”. He adds: “Throughout the show, the artists strive to convey all of Roger’s feelings, by combining ballet, contemporary dance and voices that sing Pink Floyd’s themes directly.”
The emblematic album “The Wall”, released in 1979 (which has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide), is of course the main inspiration. There will be ten dancers on stage, seven musicians and five singers. Those responsible for its creation are choreographer Johan Noss and artistic director and set designer Mohamed Yamani.
