In 2023, the survey involved nearly 22,000 drivers who rated their best and worst performance based on failures. The results, covering 32 brands and 178 different models spanning five years, showed Lexus achieved an unrivaled score of 98.3%, taking into account not only the number of problems that occurred, but also the time it took to fix them. Repair costs.
Lexus stood out in various categories, such as in the family SUV class, with the first-generation NX ranking first with 99.8%; The new and current NX was second with 99.4%; UX in third place, 99.3%. At 98.6%, the Lexus RX ranked second among large SUVs. All of these models are electrified with Lexus’ hybrid technology – voted by the survey as the most reliable and easy-to-repair machine when an aftermarket situation arises.
Although no longer sold, the durability of the Lexus IS sedan is still appreciated by its owners: the model tops the executive car class with a score of 98%.
