Lavras has always been a city of reference in the health field. With a large number of medical staff and various specialties offered to the population, the municipal government provides high-quality health care, especially to those who need it most.
New PSF construction seeks to meet local demands increasingly, as is the PSF in the Serra Verde and Vista do Lago neighborhoods. In addition to being close to providing brief care to residents, they avoid overloading the service at the UPA, which deals with urgent and emergency cases not only in Lavras, but also in small area municipalities.
In order to meet emergency requests from other areas of the city, a 24-hour healthcare center will be built in the northern district, facilitating residents’ access to continuous care.
And in the southern region, more health works are taking place, such as the new Jardim Floresta health complex, which has started operations, with a new PSF, physiotherapy clinic and municipal laboratory.
