American rock band Journey “Independence” 50th Anniversary Tour to the United Kingdom and Ireland later this year. This announcement is not yet on the official pages of the group, but the dates and places of the performances have already been announced by the specialized British press.
The new tour kicked off in the US in February this year and will make a short stop in Canada in March. During the tour of North America, the special guest was Toto, another Californian band formed in the 1970s.
The tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland has eleven confirmed dates starting on October 30th in Cardiff and ending in London on November 17th. However, in these performances, the company will not belong to Toto. A group of stakeholders is a cheap trick that, incidentally, is a constant presence along the path of travel.
Also, what is the current lineup of Journey inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017? First, yes, there is one member of the original group: guitarist and backing singer Neil Schoen, 70. He participated in the first decade, left to form other groups, and then returned.
Since 2007, the singer is Filipino Arnel Pineda, 56. In charge of keyboards is Jonathan Cain, 74, since 1996, after a spell between 1980 and 1987. No tour to the United Kingdom since 2013 and to Ireland since 2011.
