Jet2 has raised 10k on flights and packages from the UK to many destinations including Portugal, Spain and Faro in the Algarve in Cyprus.
This is in response to “strong demand from customers looking to enjoy the early summer sun,” airline Jet2.com and tour operator Jet2holidays said in a statement.
Increased capacity from five UK bases to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Larnaca, Majorca, Tenerife, Faro and Malaga from March to May.
To Faro, in the Algarve, Jet2 announced “additional services” from East Midlands Airport in May, without specifying the number of seats or frequencies.
Jet2 has increased deliveries from Birmingham to Lanzarote, Tenerife, Majorca, Fuerteventura and Larnaca, East Midlands to Majorca, Glasgow to Malaga, Lanzarote and Majorca, Leeds to Malaga and Majorca and London Stansted to Tenerife.
“This year we will be rolling out our biggest summer program yet,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
The offer increase was announced a week after Jet2holidays added half a million more passengers to its ATOL, a passenger protection mechanism regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (click to read: Jet2holidays replaces TUI to No. ATOLL).
