UOL Esporte reports that Rodrigo Nestor and Igor Gomez will be watching Porto.
The Brazilian newspaper UOL Esporte wrote, this Wednesday, that FC Porto will offer 11 million euros to two players from the Sao Paulo team: seven for Rodrigo Nestor and four for Igor Gomez.
The first is a 21-year-old midfielder, who is one of São Paulo’s most used tricolor players. He participated in the youth teams of the Morumbi team and in 2020 he moved up to the seniors and played ten matches. In the 2021 season, he has already been used in 55 matches (one goal and six assists) and this year he has played 32 matches (five goals and six assists).
Igor Gomez, 23, is also a midfielder and one of São Paulo’s undisputed players. He grew up in Kutia, the home of Paulistas, joined the main team in 2018 and since then uses a lot: 36 games in 2019 (four goals and two assists); 57 games in 2020 (four goals and five assists); 52 duels in 2021 (three goals and three assists); And in the current season in Brazil, in 2022, he already has 28 challenges, with one goal and two assists.
However, Carlos Gomez, director of football for Sao Paulo, quoted by UOL Esporte, said that “no bid has been made” and that, given the values mentioned, “there is no possibility of a deal”.
