In the last three days of 2021, the Ibersol Group opened Burger King restaurants in Covilhã, Espinho, Felgueiras, Vila Nova de Gaia, Madeira, Mangualde and Seixal.
A group of seven other Burger King spaces “created 175 new direct jobs”, with the overall brand closing in a total of 119 units of this restaurant brand operated by the Ibersol Group, in a total of 150 of the existing brand in Portugal.

Established in 1954, Burger King considers itself “the second largest hamburger restaurant chain in the world”, operating in more than 17,700 restaurants in over a hundred countries.
The brand is represented in the Ibersol Group “with about 2,500 workers on a continental scale”, with four Burger King restaurants in Madeira, where they employ about 100 people.
The Ibersol Group, which in addition to Burger King is exploring several other restaurant brands such as Pizza Hut, Pans, KFC, Taco Bell, Pasta Caffé, Ò Kilo, MiiT or Ribs, closed the first nine months of 2021 with a loss of 20.2 million euros and volume Business 241.7 million euros.
