Portugal is not seen in the best light by air passengers. Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon, is considered the worst in the world among 132 airports rated by the German website AirHelp.
Of the 10 potential “scores”, the Portuguese capital’s airport received an overall rating of 5.76, through an analysis that took into account departure and arrival delays, quality of service, and available foods and stores.
In the undefeated city, the opinion about Sá Carneiro airport is more positive, however, it does not stand out among the infrastructures evaluated in the world rankings. It was chosen as the eighth worst country in the world, with an overall score of 6.46.
In addition to Portuguese airports, among the ten worst infrastructures of this type in the world, AirHelp indicates that eight of them are located on the European continent: Lisbon, Eindhoven, Bucharest, Malta, Manchester, Paris, Porto and London.
Notable among them is Hamad International Airport, in Doha, Qatar, which was named the best player in the world, with a total of 8.39 out of 10.
Next on the list is Tokyo International Airport, in Tokyo, Japan (with 8.38 points) and closing the top three, Athens International Airport, in Athens, Greece (also with 8.38).
