David Cazorla Gaggin has been appointed President of Henkel Ibérica, a position that he will combine with his current responsibility as Global Director of Vehicle Repair and Maintenance in the field of Adhesive Technologies at the Henkel Group, thus replacing Rodolfo Schornberg who, after 33 years at Henkel, nine of them as President of the Iberian subsidiary, leaves Company.
Henkel’s new president Ibérica has a strong academic background with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), an MBA from Esade and several management and strategy programs from IESE and Stanford University. He speaks Castilian, Catalan, German (native language), English and Italian.
He began his career as a consultant at Accenture, where he stayed for a year, before joining Henkel, where he worked for 23 years. At Henkel Ibérica, he advanced in various positions and responsibilities in the areas of supply chain, marketing, sales and management in different countries such as Spain, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Greece.
The priorities and objectives of the new President will mainly focus on working on the company culture to show all the potential that the Iberian subsidiary has to continue adding value to the Group and making an impact in today’s society, under constant change and challenge, with new and fresh solutions.
