“A future with health for all” is the theme of the first Portuguese Health Summit, an initiative of Jornal de Negusius, Revista Saturday and Luciadas Side, associated with Fujifilm.
On Wednesday 7 June, Porto Business School is the stage for some of the key players in the health field to engage in a debate contributing to changing the sector in Portugal. “Um Futuro com Saúde para Todos” is the first of Portugal’s Health Summits, a space for reflection promoted by Jornal de Negusius, Revista Saturday and Luciadas Side, which aims to engage and help build a society of more health and well-being – to be for all.
The event begins broadcasting in Negócios at 3:00 p.m. The event is significant, at the first moment, with the participation of Nuno Tiago Pinto, Director of Saturday Magazine, Vasco Antunes Pereira, CEO of Lusíadas Saúde, and Pedro Mesquita, General Manager of Fujifilm Portugal and Spain, who welcome all gifts.
This is followed by the intervention of the first guest, Guilherme Macedo, Coordinator of the Gastroenterology Unit at Luciadas Hospital Porto, on “The importance of prevention, examination and treatment”. Paolo Morgado, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regional Health Administration (ARS) in the Algarve, is the next guest, and his theme is ‘Health in the Community’.
In a third moment, a panel is planned with these two specialists, who will be joined by Leopoldo Matos, Gastroenterologist at Luciadas Hospital Lisbon and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Luciadas Side, to talk about priority issues for the sector, such as the importance of prevention and the inclusion of all health systems in raising awareness of care subjectivity, well-being and the promotion of individual and community health, through essential tools for early diagnosis and close care support.
