The Vitoria Municipal Health Service (CMOS) concluded last week the first cycle of workshops for the VITORIA Health Network project, at the Vitoria Basic Health Units. Over the course of approximately two weeks, professionals from 11 primary health units in the regions of São Pedro, Santo Antonio and Centro gathered at the SUS Technical School (ETSUS) and participated in the first of the four workshops to be held within the project.
In the first workshops of this course, the specialists discussed the construction of primary health care into the Unified Health System (SUS) over the years and what a health care network is, with primary care as the coordinator of care. The goal was to raise awareness and mobilize health teams for changes in business processes that will be built through the Vix Health Network.
Each four-hour workshop is conducted by two teachers and will target all health service workers.
“Since the establishment of SUS, our society has gone through many transitions in nutritional, epidemiological and demographic profile. This is why the primary stratified SUS model needs to change to an integrated network model,” explains Technical Reference for Primary Care Victoria, Daniela Stang.
For Ilha do Príncipe Health Unit Director Helena Crist, the project will help health teams build a model of excellence in serving the population. “It is great to develop a project like this based on the ideas and needs of the health units. This values the work of the end-of-service servant, because he knows the population he serves and their real needs,” he says.
Endemic Disease Control Undersecretary Walterle Quintilio praised the initiative, particularly given the impact of the pandemic on business operations and relationships with communities. “After all we’ve been through in the pandemic, it’s very important to realign the concepts and guidelines for the population,” he said.
Private classes
In addition to promoting the workshops, the Vix Saúde Network project also provides training for 38 teachers, all of whom are servers at the central level of Semus, with higher education and experience in the health field. In addition to conducting workshops, educators will also support health managers and teams in building a local action plan for health units, with goals, actions, and objectives, reorganizing processes and services in units, and reorganizing the macro and micro. necessary operations.
Among the teachers in training, healthcare technical reference Liana Antonucci highlights that Vix Health Network is a Semus project, designed for health professionals and residents of Vitória.
“It is a very valuable and very important opportunity, with the exchange of information, knowledge and experiences. This is the time to restructure what the pandemic has caused disorganization, expand access and improve the quality of services provided. Health conditions and user needs are clarified.”
Fix Health Network
The Vix Health Network project will be the tool that Semus will use to reorganize business processes in primary health care. Using the healthcare planning methodology, introduced and developed by the National Council of Health Trustees (CNHS), a combination of workshops, educational and training programs will empower health teams.
The project began on September 20 and includes four workshops and 16 tutorials, which are supposed to be completed by the end of 2023.
Among some of the results to expect with Vix Health Network:
- Reorganization of work procedures in health services with a view to quality;
- increase in primary care decision;
- Qualification of care programming;
- strengthening collective spaces in health services;
- participation and motivation of teams in health work;
- Improving the reach of indicators, in particular Previne Brasil, among others.
