This year's Green April campaign at the Dr. Alberto Tolentino Sotelo Municipal Hospital in Santarém, which emphasizes safety and health in the workplace, began with a series of lectures. The activities began with a two-day talk in the hospital hall, led by Dayani França Ribeiro, a psychiatrist in the psychosocial sector. These sessions, which were held on Wednesday and Thursday, addressed the topic of “Combatting moral and sexual harassment in the workplace: building a safe and respectful environment.”
This Friday (26), in continuation of the campaign schedule, the hospital's multidisciplinary team participated in the training on NR 32, which focused on “promoting the safety and health of healthcare workers”. This training is part of ongoing efforts to improve safety practices in the hospital environment.
These events were organized by the Specialized Service for Safety Engineering and Occupational Medicine (SESMT) and the Internal Committee for the Prevention of Incidents and Harassment (CIPA).
During the opening, the speaker specialized in psychology, Diane, highlighted the importance of addressing sensitive topics, stressing. “It's essential that everyone in the workplace feels safe to voice their concerns. This year's campaign aims to open up these channels of communication and ensure everyone gets the information they need.
The Abril Verde campaign seeks not only to reduce the rates of occupational accidents and diseases, but also to promote a safer and more respectful working environment, with the active participation of employees from different sectors of the hospital.
