As you have already noticed by the significant investment in photography that Google has made in its latest smartphones, and also by introducing additional features with artificial intelligence into the Google Photos mix, which is now reaching all users… The North American giant already has big plans for the smart photo op.
We have more news on the way!
Google will have great news for AI photography!
So, in addition to the imminent announcement regarding the Google Pixel 8a, which should be able to bring much of the “cutting-edge” AI experience of the Google Pixel 8 to the mid-range. This is in addition to the famous 7 years of guaranteed updates.
The search giant is also working on a RealFill feature.
What is this “RealFill”?
You know, and you don't know, you have to start knowing because this is really, really important. Google is betting big and ugly on generative AI. The company already has some interesting tools and features in its ecosystem, as well as in the Samsung ecosystem, which is one of its closest partners.
The next feature appears to be RealFill, a feature registered with the EUIPO and USPTO, which should be able to provide proprietary software that uses artificial intelligence to draw images.
Or rather, it is a function capable of completing images using artificial intelligence, focusing only on the reality of the facts.
It could be something incredible! Because this can be a feature that is able to enhance images in an almost ridiculous way. This is without taking away from the reality of the scenario and the people included in it.
However, we still don't know whether this functionality will be a reality at the moment, or whether it will remain in development for a longer period. So, I would say it will be launched sometime in October, as one of the big news in the Pixel 9 lineup, and then registered with the North American and European authorities.
