So far, the best ways to play games on a big screen in Google Stadia have been through Chromecast Ultra or some compatible smart TV. You can also play games on your computer on Google Chrome, or on your Android smartphone and tablet, as well as on your iPhone and iPad.
But as announced earlier this month, the cloud gaming service announced its arrival on Android TV. Or at least some Android TV devices are able to run it without any issues.
You can now play Google Stadia on Nvidia Shield or Xiaomi Mi Box
That day has arrived, and it’s now possible to run the Google Stadia catalog on devices like the Xiaomi Mi Box 3 and 4, or on the Nvidia Shield. Chromecast is also supported with Google TV, also known as Sabrina.
To start playing on your Android TV / Google TV, just go to the Google Play Store, and search for Stadia. You can also install the application via your computer, and access the Google Play Store via from this link. After installation, you select your account and you just need to connect a compatible remote control to the device.
