Hey Google Maps has just received an update for both Android and Android Auto that promises to make life a little easier for electric car drivers.
Thanks to a series of new features introduced by this update, it will be much easier to find charging stations while traveling.
As ArenaEV says, the new artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm is able to rely on user feedback about the exact location and directions of charging stations to the destination selected by the driver. This way, it will be easier to plan longer trips, while also indicating the type of charger available at a particular station.
Furthermore, these charging points will be suggested according to the car's battery level – with Google Maps based on available power to suggest the charging point or trip time at which to refuel.
