Claudio Ramos writes a weekly column for TV Mais magazine. The TVI announcer has a section in the respective publication and in the Wednesday 19 January issue, he decided to leave a text about his latest “absence” from the “Dois à 10” program as well as from social networks.
Maria Botelho Moniz’s TV partner explained in the morning on TVI that he decided to take a few days off and even stay away from social networks:
“I decided to stop for a few days. Totally stopped! Stop in the eyes of the audience and whoever follows me. I took a week off. I’m not one of those people who think holidays should be taken as the calendar says or just because it’s sunny or cold. We must get it out, above all else, when we realize it’s time to slow down.”, he began writing in this week’s chronicle, “Stop While It’s Time.”

Claudio Ramos asserted that the fact that he did not “warn” his followers about his “stop” and that he did not share what he did during those days is his right:
“I have been accused of not saying where I was and when I was going or returning. I understand the anxiety and even the curiosity, but my life (…) will never be guided by what other people think or what would be nicer to do. It will always be based on what I want (…). I go in and out when I feel like it as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. And most importantly, don’t hurt me.”, confirmed.
The TVI presenter said that this pause was necessary for his well-being and that his sole purpose was to replenish energies, since, ‘About two years ago’ this is “You are involved in a giant emotional cake that is not easy to manage”:
I am neither iron nor machine. I am a human being, so I felt the need to stop the pain of not giving to someone who deserves the best of me (…). It seems that everything must be shared, otherwise it would not exist, not done, and it was not worth it. Don’t go this way. Don’t choose it. It is not the best! After this “reset” process, there is a notebook full of papers to fill out. With more strength, more will and more truth. Sure!”, Been completed.
