Finland offers free all-inclusive trips
The responsible authorities intend to prove to tourists why it is considered “the happiest country in the world.”
Finland is one of the happiest countries ever, according to the United Nations' World Happiness Report. In fact, the country has held the top spot in the rankings for six consecutive years.
If you have always wanted to know the secret of this apparent happiness, now you will have the opportunity to get to know the country personally, and without having to pay anything. Visit Finland and Helsinki Partners – the entities responsible for promoting tourism in that country – will organize a five-day training course to provide the best happiness tips.
The initiative runs from June 9 to 14 and the program is comprehensive for participants (from accommodation to round-trip flights). The group responsible for the workshops is the Helsinki Happiness Pirates, otherwise known as the Three Happiness Pirates. Lina Salmi, 70, is a former swimmer and sports journalist who skis around Helsinki. Adela Pajunen is a biologist, author, and activist. While Luca Bala is a restaurant entrepreneur, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Key lessons include wild swimming lessons, an activity held year-round in Finland's capital. You will also be able to hike through the forest and discover local cuisine, for example. If you're interested in embarking on this adventure, know that you can apply Connected Until April 4.
