Five recent graduates in medical imaging and radiotherapy from the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Politécnico de Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC) have received internships under the ERASMUS program at InHealth, the UK’s largest diagnostics group.
After graduation, former ESTeSC-IPC students will come to the United Kingdom in September and stay there for three months, integrating into a team specializing in the field of magnetic resonance. “This is a unique opportunity for our alumni to develop skills at the highest level and for ESTeSC-IPC to recognize the high quality of training provided here,” said Graziano Paolo, President of ESTeSC-IPC.
With 30 years of operations, InHealth already has many Portuguese graduates on its staff, most of whom graduated from ESTeSC-IPC – among them the company’s current Head of Operations, Ana Filipa Sosa. After a decade with international practitioners, the team is excited to have graduates from ESTeSC-IPC “for the different approach they bring”. “At InHealth we stand for equality, diversity and inclusion and colleagues from other nationalities bring with them a rich culture and diverse experience which only helps make us an even more inclusive employer,” says Amelia Staniland, group HR manager.
