Last Friday afternoon, June 14, the Family Health Unit (USF) 1 in the Mau Amiga neighborhood hosted another meeting of the Save the Children group – USF1. The main theme of the event was “Caring for the Environment – Recycling” and included a talk by employees of Assobra, an association dedicated to sustainability and environmental education.
The activities were headed by the President of Assobra, Giusianni Ferreira da Silva, and the Environment Agents Jennifer Fernanda Santos Costa and Elizangela de Jesús Matias. During the dialogue, the children and their families were able to learn about the importance of recycling and the practices that can be adopted in daily life to contribute to preserving the environment.
In addition to sharing valuable knowledge about recycling, the meeting provided moments of fun and interaction. The children were able to have fun in the bounce house and enjoy popcorn, while an afternoon snack was served to all participants.
The Save the Children – USF1 initiative aims not only at environmental education, but also at strengthening community ties and promoting a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations. Such events are essential for building environmental awareness from an early age and promoting community engagement in sustainable practices.
The Municipality of Brasílandia congratulates Assobra and the USF 1 team in the Mao Amiga neighborhood for holding this meeting and strengthening its commitment to environmental education and sustainability.
