Elon Musk has made a donation to a political campaign supporting the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States.
According to the BloombergAccording to the news, the richest man in the world donated a “large” sum (the amount was not disclosed) to a campaign working to elect the Republican candidate.
It is a move that confirms Musk’s attempt to interfere in the country’s political direction, at a time when the division between Trump and Biden is growing, especially with the increasing wave of demands for the president to step down and re-nominate him for the Democratic Party race.
Musk’s contribution goes directly to America PAC, a media-secret group that represents a major financial force for Trump’s candidacy.
Although the exact amount was not disclosed, sources familiar with the matter confirmed that it was a “large sum.”
America PAC will reveal its list of contributors on the 15th, and the news comes at the same time that several media outlets reported that major Democratic Party donors have frozen around $90 million (around €85 million) until Biden gives in.
