A sequel to the 2012 classic, Dragon’s Dogma 2 was developed using immersive physics, advanced AI for characters and state-of-the-art graphics from the RE Engine, Capcom’s proprietary graphics engine used in games such as Resident Evil 4, Devil May Cry 5 and Street Fighter 6, among others. other.

The video provided the first glimpse into the richly detailed and explorable fantasy world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
As in the original Dragon’s Dogma, the player assumes the role of the hero named Nascen (Arisen, originally in English), who is destined for a fighting journey against a fearsome dragon that threatens to destroy the world, and seize the throne.
In addition to humans, the new game features a new feline race, the Leoterians, and the return of the Pawns system (Pawns, in the original), up to three characters who accompany Nascen on his adventures, learning from him and passing this knowledge on to other players.
Capcom promises that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be a challenging RPG that will require players’ skill, creativity, and curiosity. The video gives a sample of the graphics, characters, and monsters created with the RE Engine, but the producer also notes that the character physics and artificial intelligence create an environment with dynamic actions and consequences for actions and decisions.
