The film won the award along with seven other films. The first part of the event took place online on the festival website from July 24 to August 7. First, online voting was open to the public. In total, there were eight shows, each with more than 100 films. “Tempo” won its program, beating 107 other contestants and advancing to the finals to compete for the Technical Jury Prize with winners from other programs.
Filmmaker Alison Resende commented on the prospect. “I already felt that I had won the final for the Technical Jury category. There were eight films of undeniable quality and we, the finalists, knew there would be only one winner in this category. Winning the ‘People’s Choice’ category was special and important. Out of thousands of films, “Tempo” was the winner. The presence attests to the quality of our work and shows that we have been able to win hearts around the world,” he said.
The cinematography highlights our relationship with this period that transcends existence, feelings, relationships and life. The film was recorded at a local studio in Dvinopolis.
