The parties made for an unforgettable night at Festas do Mar.
The third day of the Festas de Mars 2023 was a day that will never be forgotten and will remain forever in the memories of the Cascais Bay and the people of Cascais.
Carolina Quintas is fascinated by the Sagres Theater
The Sagres Theater, next to Cidadela de Cascais, continues to reveal new talents in Portuguese music, and on Saturday August 26, representing the InQubadora project, Carolina Quintas managed to make its debut at the Festas do Mar.
Among the covers of already well-known songs, the young woman presented her recently released theme “Parte Solta” and premiered a new single in English, which will be released to the world in October.
Carolina Quintas was accompanied by ESPI and Maggie, also members of the InQubadora Project, and the three of them performed at the Sagres Theater on a beautiful late afternoon.
“Finally,” Mariana Dalot took it one step further
The first concert of the day on the main stage was the responsibility of Mariana Dalot. The singer-songwriter went to Baia de Cascais to introduce her new album “Círculo”, which deals emotionally with themes like love, longing, sadness and all the “other simple things that move the soul. The world”. .
Mariana Dalot spent a lovely afternoon with the people of Cascais, enchanting them with her touching voice and intimate themes, such as “coisas simples” and “with you”.
And when she reached the last song, and not by chance, which is titled “In the End”, the artist was surprised by her friends, who spread posters bearing a message for Mariana among the audience. With mobile phones with flashlights in one hand, the other held sheets of paper in which one could read Take One Step More, which gives an account of Mariana Dalot’s growth as an artist. A moment that will remain forever in the artist’s heart.
But Mariana’s night won’t stop here.
Paradise by Diogo Bessara in the Gulf of Cascais
In one of the most anticipated concerts of this edition of Festas do Mar, Diogo Besara did not disappoint, making the people of Cascais rock with his songs.
The artist has stepped onto the stage closest to the Atlantic Ocean several times, and each time he does, it is an unforgettable experience. In an authentic show, punctuated by flames, fireworks and lights, the audience lived up to Diogo Bessara’s expectations, presenting themselves completely from the beginning, ‘until the end’.
In 2018, Bisara said he wanted to step back from the Festas do Mar theater sooner or later. It was fate that he could do it in 2023, and “it was a better show than it was five years ago,” he said. He continued, “A fuller, more mature concert, with more mature themes.”
Baia became “Paradise”, where thousands of people sang the artist’s greatest hits from the first to the last chord. “Sorriso” and “Dialeto” drove the people of Cascais into a frenzy, while “Trevo” made them forget the wind and gave them a good summer vibe. With the theme “Anjos”, Diogo Piçarra recreates Mariana Dalot, for a moment of immense complicity between the artists and the audience of the Festas do Mar.
