Timothy – Continuing the detailed anti-virus measures, the City of Timoteo, through the Ministries of Health, Works, Urban Services, Government and Communications, launched an inspection on Monday (15) morning at the old Chopana Club, in the Santa Cecilia neighborhood, a place closed for several years and which has caused concern among residents.
The Ministry of Health considers the former club area as a permanent surveillance point, PE, with regular visits by endemic and zoonotic disease agents to detect potential infestations of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. In the expanded works that were carried out on Monday morning, employees of the Works and Cleaning Sector were transferred, in addition to employees of the Health Department and the Inspection Sector.
Some Aedes aegypti infestation sites were detected on site, such as the frame and bottle, which were removed (mechanical treatment) at the time of the procedure. These unusable items appear to have been disposed of by users, considering that on-site monitoring is frequent. At the same time, fumigation was applied using a backpack pump. On this occasion, health and inspection technicians issued a report on the problems discovered. The owner will then be notified and will have ten days to resolve the site abandonment. A copy of this report will also be sent with the notification to the Attorney General's Office.
