The City of Porto Alegre, through the Municipal Health Administration (SMS), maintained the display of a rapid antigen test for Covid-19 on Sunday, 16, in nine health units, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In all, 1,346 people received assistance. Of these, 1,048 underwent rapid antigen tests and 471 were positive, corresponding to 44.9% of the total. The busiest spot was the Grief Health Unit, where 274 visits and 222 rapid tests were performed.
Those who had symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, headache, runny nose, diarrhea, change in smell, taste, weakness and muscle pain) and patients without positive symptoms were offered the tests. for Covid-19 and without a full vaccination schedule. Prior to testing, they all underwent a clinical evaluation immediately.
