Samsung has already denied one of the latest rumors about its Unpacked event taking place today, early in the afternoon.
There was talk of a limited edition Galaxy Fold6 with a touch of luxury from the Louis Vuitton brand, but that’s a smartphone we won’t be getting to know today.
Samsung is not working with any partners for an “Olympic phone”
The rumor of a special, luxury edition of the Galaxy Fold6 appeared as quickly as it disappeared. All because a Samsung representative quickly denied the smartphone’s existence to The Korea Herald.
The same source went further, stating that Samsung is not working with any partner to develop the “Olympic phone.” Unfortunately, the same official declined to comment further on the possibility of the South Korean giant launching a device dedicated to the sporting event.
The whole thing happened on social media. One post reported that Samsung will collaborate with luxury conglomerate LVMH — which includes the Louis Vuitton brand — on a special, luxury edition of the Galaxy Fold6.
This edition will be a tribute to the upcoming Olympic Games that will be held in Paris, France, this year. The information has gained some attention, as the Unpacked event is also taking place today in the French capital.
What can we expect to see in the Samsung Galaxy Fold6?
Meanwhile, in the web world, the secrets of Samsung’s new foldable phone have already been revealed. The Galaxy Fold6 is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 4,400 mAh battery.
As for the displays, there is a 7.6-inch main panel and a 6.4-inch secondary panel. Apparently, we will also have the popular Galaxy AI features in the new foldable device.
Furthermore, the Fold6 will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. On the front, there will be a 10MP camera.
