Searches continue in Colombia, but not for the four rescued children. While the country celebrates, the forest is still searching for the last of the missing: a dog named Wilson who was with the youngsters.
These are the drawings made by two of the four children that show Wilson, the dog who discovered them before anyone else and stayed with them until it was lost.
The drawings have been handed over to the Colombian army by the youngsters who are now awaiting the animal’s return. The Belgian Shepherd is treated as a national hero in the country.
The six-year-old dog was considered crucial in discovering the four children who disappeared in the woods for 40 days, and searches not only found numerous evidence that the youngsters were alive and alone, but it also appears that he went to meet the children before anyone else.
After finding the children, Wilson eventually gets lost in the vegetation, they still see him, they call him, but nothing.
Wilson is now lost in a dangerous forest with a hostile climate, home to many predators, and it remains to be seen if the training he has undergone helps him fight back until he is found.
Columbia is still looking at the jungle waiting, and under the guise of “no one left behind,” the Army is looking for Wilson as another comrade-in-arms.
