Chrome will celebrate its fifteenth year in 2023. This browser won over all the users with its speed, efficiency, and a very intuitive and simple interface.
Now, when the years pass, Google will make changes to the interface and how to use it. These things can already be seen and even experienced, thus anticipating what Google will change in Chrome.
Despite being a completely different browser today, Chrome has always stood out for being a simple browser with a very simple interface. Everything is very accessible and easy to use in any situation.
Now, in preparation for its anniversary, Google wants to shake up Chrome a bit, making changes to its interface. These changes are already in beta and can be easily activated, thus revealing a bit of what Google is preparing for Chrome.
The most obvious changes are quickly identified, with the tab bar appearing blue backlit, something reminiscent of the original interface. There is more spacing between open tabs.
Also in the rest of Chrome there will be changes. Most obvious are the Google browser buttons, which have become rounder and with more attractive shapes. Text fields and selection regions follow this change.
Testing what is prepared is simple. Just use the Canary version of Chrome and access the address chrome://flags/#chrome-refresh-2023. Inside, you just need to activate the flag and after restart Chrome.
This is an unexpected change, but it breathes new life into Chrome. This Google browser is much more interesting and promises more improvement in other areas where it needs to be renewed, in order to return to its original times.
