While Guardians of the Galaxy Don’t come back in a new movie, we’ll be able to meet an alternate version of these reluctant heroes, with a game Eidos MontrealAlready in October.
Like the movies, the game will be accompanied by a selection of songs from the 80s, the decade Peter Quill remembers on Earth. Best of all, the music will affect the mechanics of the game.
In a development video, Steve Szeczepkowski, Senior Sound Director at Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, talks a little bit about the song selection process as we find some of his personal favorite themes of the ’80s, which include music by bands and artists like KISS, New Kids On The Block, Rick Astley, Hot Chocolate and many more .
In addition, the game will be accompanied by a soundtrack orchestrated by Richard Jack, but the best part is how to use the music during the fight, with The Huddle mode, which as Szeczepkowski explains, by being energetic, will motivate the remaining guards to stay motivated during the fight, resulting in memorable and lively moments.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, along with a licensed and curated soundtrack, arrives October 26th on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and streaming services.
