All major airports in the country confirmed problems in immigration areas
A number of UK airports have confirmed that there is a problem with the electronic system, in an issue that is causing chaos in the country.
Stansted and Gatwick airports, both in London, confirmed that the problem was related to electronic passport control gates, and Heathrow Airport, the country’s largest airport, also located in the capital, confirmed similar problems.
A Heathrow Airport spokesman confirmed that “Border Guards are facing a national problem affecting passengers trying to enter across the border,” adding that the authorities are working as quickly as possible to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

It’s a problematic scenario that has also reached Manchester, for example, where the airport reported major disruption due to a nationwide power outage.
Gatwick Airport, whose staff are assisting all those affected, also confirmed that “some passengers may face immigration delays due to a national border issue.”
Currently, there are many videos on social media showing long queues and problems for passengers.
